This is Part 1 of 2 photo galleries: Here are some pictures my friends Rich (professional Emmy-award winning composer and musician) & Ivy (professional model/actress as well as financial consultant) took at my GOOD ENOUGH book launch party on Feb. 23, 2008 at the wonderful Duttons Bookstore in Brentwood. I called my party "Paulapallooza" because it featured a performance by my wonderful friends in the acclaimed LA indie alt/folk band LISTING SHIP along with me jammin' with 'em on one song, plus me doing a multi-media book reading (me reading and then playing samples of some of the violin pieces listed in the book such as the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in e minor and a cadenza from Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol"). And I had a friend named Sun Hong - a five-star sushi chef! - cater the party with gourmet Spam musubi (Spam "Sushi") and veggie maki rolls. The Spam sushi was devoured in SECONDS. I ended the party with a free raffle ticket surprise - the winners won CDs featuring music from Good Enough, including a Bartok String quartet CD, a recording of the Mendelssohn, a Sarah Chang album, and of course, a Duran Duran Greatest Hits CD!
