Website Updates and New Pic Galleys!
Hi everyone. Wow, I had all these fantastical visions of me waking up every morning, pouring myself a cup of hot tea, nibbling on a blueberry scone, and writing pithy, witty, delightful little morning blog entries for y'all to enjoy.
Instead, I totally procrastinated and then I got super busy and was unable to turn my website into this cool interactive site where I would post daily witticisms and y'all would then comment on my blogs and we'd start up this intensive dialogue.
But I do have an excuse. I had my first book launch party! No one told me how much work it would be! I posted some pics in the Picture Gallery, so please check them out. Here's a preview... I posted TWO party photo galleries - the first one features photos from my friends Rich and Ivy, the second one features photos from my friend Rob!

As an extra treat, I also posted a step-by-step "how to make SPAM sushi rolls" photo gallery based on a recipe in GOOD ENOUGH! So you have THREE photo galleries to check out!
I have a huge all-day two-school presentation on Monday March 3rd, so I'll post pics and an update on that later this week. I also plan to post a new Writing Tip on Book Promotion for the published book author friends who visit this site!
Finally, I wanted to thank my friend GREG of webheadlabs.com for the recent updates to my site, including a new LINKS tab (check it daily for new links I'll be adding) and debuting the Paula Yoo icon - an adorable character created by my good friend Janie Bynum, a popular and acclaimed children's book author and illustrator. You can check out her website at http://janiebynum.com/. Thank you Greg & Janie!!!! (Their baby pictures are below - I took Janie's from her website and Greg had emailed me his baby pic once and I kept it for posterity, so here they are! Awwww, aren't they cute? And because I know fair's fair, here's me at age 2 just so you can see a trio of troublemakers!
)

Until my next blog and updates, please enjoy this lovely photo of my favorite band DURAN DURAN (sigh... they are so cute!)
Oooh, and here's a little GOOD ENOUGH trivial pursuit fact... the novel was originally set in 1984 and I had to update it to modern times because well, I was told teens don't want to read historical fiction! hahaha!
So Patti's favorite band from 1984 (Duran Duran) was updated to the fictional "Jet Pack."
I of course managed to get Duran Duran still mentioned in the book - have fun finding out on what page!
